Eye clinic
The Messidor Eye Center offers specialized treatment of eye diseases and disorders in adults and children.
Our team of ophthalmologists treats, among others, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, ARMD and uveitis. They will also offer surgical procedures in case of cataract for example, and laser treatment for myopia, hyperopia or astigmatism.
Equipment
The ophthalmologists of the Messidor Eye Center are equipped with state-of-the-art instruments for the assessment and treatment of ophthalmological disorders.
This equipment is adapted to both adults and children.
Location
The Messidor Eye Center is located in Uccle (Brussels), between Avenue Brugmann and the Rond-Point Churchill. It is close to Saint-Gilles, Forest and Ixelles.

Emergencies
Call the Messidor Eye Center immediately at 02 318 12 12. You will be given a priority appointment with an ophthalmologist if you are experiencing
- A severe eye trauma
- A foreign body in the eye
- A recent, sudden, and persistent visual loss
- A red and painful eye
- A recent and persistent double vision
In case of an emergency outside of the opening hours of the Messidor Eye Center, contact the closest hospital’s emergency room.
